ET confirms that Leonardo DiCaprio's beloved 93-year-old grandmother has died in Germany.

Helene Indenbirken passed away Monday in a hospital in her hometown of Oer-Erkenschwick in central Germany, according to the local newspaper Recklinghaeser Zeitung. No exact cause of death was reported.

A funeral date had not yet been set, but Indenbirken was expected to be buried in her hometown. Leonardo, 33, recently spent time in the area to visit his ailing "Oma," the newspaper reported.

Tom Cruise writes in Men's Vogue magazine he still feels inspired by Ben Stiller after the two worked together on the big budget Hollywood spoof 'Tropic Thunder,' which hits theaters August 13th.

"One can't fully appreciate what he has accomplished in acting, writing, directing, producing, and starring in a film like Tropic Thunder without recognizing that any single one of these functions alone is a full-time job," Cruise, who has a cameo in the movie, tells the fashion mag.

Cruise said he had no hesitation when Stiller, 42, approached him to work on the project, which stiller said was a "dream project" he had been working on for more than eight years. "To make a long story short, I read it, I loved it, and we started working on it."

Box office phenomenon 'The Dark Knight' broke yet another record by surpassing the $400 million mark in just 18 days, the film's distributor Warner Bros. said today. 

The Batman superhero thriller continues breaking one record after another as it moves up the list of biggest domestic moneymakers of all time. Previously 'Shrek 2' held the record by passing the $400 million mark in 43 days.

'The Dark Knight,' starring Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger, is currently at No. 8 on the all-time list and is expected to keep climbing to possibly steal the top spot from 'Titanic,' which racked up $600.8 million in U.S. box office.  

Hollywood went Mediterranean tonight as the stars of Woody Allen's newest comedy, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' -- Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson -- walked the red carpet, and ET's Thea Andrews was there!

Scarlett, who recently got engaged to 'Van Wilder' hunk Ryan Reynolds, talked wedding plans, and also offered her well-wishes to Morgan Freeman -- while director Woody talked about what a thrill it was to work with her and Penelope on the 'Vicky' set!

In theaters August 15, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' casts Scarlett as an emotionally and sexually adventurous American woman in Barcelona who becomes romantically entangled with a charismatic painter (played by new Oscar winner Javier) and his tempestuous ex-wife (played by Cruz).

'High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens is starring in a different kind of big-screen musical, a movie called 'Will,' and ET is first on the set of the teenage romance to chat with the bombshell brunette.

"My look is definitely a little bit darker than in 'High School Musical,'" Vanessa tells us. "I kind of play the 'emo girl.' She wears a lot of black and she always has long sleeves with thumbs in them."

Vanessa plays Sa5m -- the "five" is silent -- a teenage rocker misfit caught up in her high-school's all-important battle of the bands! The movie, which just started shooting, features newcomer Gaelen Connell as Will, her talented but shy ally, "Friday Night Lights"' Scott Porter as a rival singing frontman, Lisa Kudrow ("Friends") as Will's mom and "Phil of the Future" star Alyson Michalka.

What do you get when you put Carmen Electra, Vanessa Minnillo and Kim Kardashian in the same room and put it on film? 'Disaster Movie' hits theaters everywhere August 29, but making the spoof movie was anything but, as the trio of beauties got along perfectly!

"Vanessa and Kim are girl's girls," Carmen tells ET on the set. "They're really cool and there definitely isn't anything like [drama] going on."

"No drama -- there's no drama here on the set, I swear," says Kim.

Box office powerhouse 'The Dark Knight' neared the $400 million mark, still No. 1 for the third week in a row. The superhero thriller made another $43.8 million during its third weekend in release, studio estimates showed Sunday. 

The Warner Bros. movie has now made an astounding $394.9 million and studio executives say they expect the it to earn at least $100 million more, which would make it the No. 2 biggest grossing domestic film of all time behind 'Titanic,' which made $601 million in US box office.

'The Dark Knight' did face competition from the new 'Mummy' sequel, which made an estimated $42.5 million its opening weekend. 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' stars Brendan Fraser, whose character goes on a mission with his son to unearth a mummy cursed by a wizard.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's newborn twins Vivienne and Knox are ready for their close-ups and will have their world debut on People.com at 7 p.m. tonight EDT (4 p.m. Pacific).

In a world exclusive, People.com will unveil one photo of the newest members of Team Jolie-Pitt. The magazine won the North American rights to the most coveted baby pictures ever. 

The overseas glossy Hello! nabbed the international rights. The pictures reportedly were sold for a record-breaking sum. Brad and Angelina will donate the money to charity. 

Brendan Fraser is intervening to help nearly 100 digital-effects artists get paid for their work on his new movie 'Journey to the Center of the Earth,' the New York Post reports.

The artists are owed about $1 million by a bankrupt subsidiary of Discovery Communications, but Fraser's rep says he has been making calls to help their plight, according to the Post.

"Brendan just heard about this for the first time. He's on it. He thinks what happened is awful, and he's extremely upset," the rep said.

Madonna is expected in Traverse City, Michigan tonight to host a screening of her Malawi documentary, 'I Am Because We Are,' at the Traverse City Film Festival. The event has reportedly been sold out for weeks, with tickets going as high as $1,000 on eBay, according to the Detroit Free Press newspaper.

The film fest was founded by director Michael Moore, who befriended Madonna when her Maverick film company sponsored his 1995 movie, 'Canadian Bacon.' The Material Mom has other ties to Michigan: She was raised in Pontiac and her father has a vineyard there.
